By accessing or using TagNest ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
TagNest provides NFC-enabled tags that help parents track and recover lost school items. Our service includes:
- Physical NFC tags with NTAG213 technology
- Web-based dashboard for managing tags and items
- Notification system when items are found
- Optional TagNest+ premium subscription features
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Providing accurate and current information
- Notifying us immediately of unauthorized account use
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
- Share false or misleading information
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Use tags for tracking individuals without consent
5. Purchases and Payments
Tag Packs:
- All tag pack purchases are final and non-refundable unless tags are defective
- Prices are subject to change without notice
- Shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed
TagNest+ Subscription:
- Billed monthly or annually as selected
- Automatically renews unless cancelled
- Cancel anytime from your dashboard
- No refunds for partial subscription periods
6. Product Warranty
TagNest tags come with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear. To claim a warranty, contact us at hello@tagnest.co.uk.
7. Limitation of Liability
TagNest is a lost-and-found service and does NOT guarantee:
- That lost items will be found or returned
- The honesty or actions of finders
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- Prevention of item loss or theft
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TagNest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of our service.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on TagNest are owned by or licensed to us. You may not use, copy, or distribute any content without our express written permission.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service immediately ceases, but your tags will remain functional for finders to scan.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
